Suez Canal Authority has decided that circular no. (4/2020) concerning Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carriers (Laden or Ballast) operating between the "American Gulf", India and its Eastern ports, shall remain in force till the end of June 2022 after amending of "Article One" of the circular to read as follows: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carriers )laden/ballast) operating between the "American Gulf" (starting from Miami port and its western ports within the "American Gulf" also ports located southern of the "American Gulf") and the below areas at India and it's eastern ports; shall be granted the following rebate percentages: 1) Ports West of India & Maldives Islands till port of Kochi a rebate of 20% of Suez Canal normal tolls. 2) Eastern ports to the port of Kochi up to port of Singapore a rebate of 55% of Suez Canal normal tolls. 3) Singapore ports and its eastern ports a rebate of 70% of Suez Canal normal tolls. - "Article Two" of the circular shall remain in force. - This periodical shall be applicable to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carriers (laden or ballast) sailing from “origin ports” from the 1st of January 2022 till the 30th of June 2022.
